Garrett's Speedies
A wonderfully tasty finger food or main dish. You can serve them plain or add your favorite vegetables to make your own unique beef kabobs.
Speedie Sauce
  • 1 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 cup Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tspn Lemon juice
  • 1 Clove garlic or 1/2 tsp powder
  • 1 tspn Oregano
  • 2 Bay leaves or 1 tsp dried bay leaves
  • ½ tspn Dried parsley
  • ½ tspn Salt
  • ½ tspn Black pepper
  • 1½ tspn Rosemary
  • 1½ tspn Thyme
  • 1½ tspn Sweet basil or 2 minced leaves
  • 2 tspn Worcestershire sauce
 
Directions:
  • Cut pork, lamb or just about any type of meat into 1 to 1½" cubes.
  • Marinate in the sauce for at least 24 hours.
  • Place on skewers and barbecue over charcoal or gas grill until done.
  • Serve hot
 
Notes:
  • Goes great with Vickie's Fried Potatoes.
  • To make kabobs, add cubed tomatoes, onions, zucchini, potatoes or any of your favorite vegetables in between the mean on the skewers. Then grill all together.
